The assignment was to create a desk calendar for American Printing that would showcase their printing abilities and, hopefully, stay on people's desks.

The solution was a calendar called "Flying Colors". Each month had a different sheet, designed to reflect the month, bound in that featured a different printing technique. The sheets were perforated so they could be removed cleanly and turned into paper airplanes. At the end of the year you would, literally, have a collection of flying colors.
