The assignment was to create a desk calendar for American Printing that would showcase their printing abilities and, hopefully, stay on people's desks.

The solution was a desk calendar called "Flying Colors". A different sheet started each month. Each sheet featured a different printing technique and was designed to reflect the theme of the month. These sheets were perforated and taken out of the calendar to fold into paper airplanes. At the end of the year you would, literally, have a collection of flying colors.
