This is a book created to raise funds for our adoption a little girl in Russia. I show it for a couple of reasons. First, because it's a great example of how I view design. It's not just making something look pretty. It's solving a problem in a way that communicates effectively and creates change.

In this case, our problem was raising funds to adopt our daughter. The solution was to write and photograph a book of lessons we have learned from our baby boy, who also has down syndrome.
